Hypnotherapy

Crew Lauterbach, PhD, LCSW-R, CHt is a certified clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. He has assisted many clients to drastically change the way they eat as well and subsequently helped them to relax around food and lose weight.

Hypnosis is a distinctive, trance-like state that is induced by an organized pattern of suggestions, usually verbal in nature, beginning with deep relaxation of the body and mind.  When one allows themselves to become deeply relaxed, one can alter the way they eat, becoming aware of their impulses to eat for reasons other than physical hunger. This awareness also helps clients make changes in their behaviors based upon their intentions.
